Engage Public Affairs provides strategic planning, crisis communications, public involvement and media relations counsel to organizations tackling complex issues and seeking a positive community profile.

Led by Marie S. Keister, APR, AICP, Engage specializes in engaging the public in informed decision-making. Ms. Keister, who has developed and taught coursework in crisis communication, public involvement, media relations, meeting facilitation and project management, is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (APR) and is certified as a professional planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

In addition to winning numerous advertising and public relations awards, Marie was named PR News “Top Women in PR” in 2015, Member of the Year and Woman of the Year by the Columbus chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar, and a Wall of Fame member by the Washington State Department of Transportation. She is a published author and accomplished public speaker.
